Instant Inspiration 1

August 17th, 2008

Occasionally I find a writer whose thoughts and ideas so strong that they inspire me to take action. I’ve read and listened to a great number of self help and business guides over the past 10 years and each week I’d like to share some of the best bits with you.

“At any given time we are becoming the average of the five people with whom we are most closely associated. Don’t ever underestimate the importance of whom you choose to be with.”

These wonderful words by Ken Blanchard really hit home the principle that if you want to have vision and be alive to opportunity you need to cut loose from those acquaintances with a negative outlook on life. Associate with people you admire. Those with strong solid values such as integrity, love, and honesty.

Sunlight reflected from the windows of an office block onto a curved wall in Brisbane formed the background for this caught moment. 2008 by Damien Lovegrove
