Amazing news - will be getting BX 500 and Ranger Quanta.

Just the Quanta looks a bit not as well finished / built as well as the normal Ranger ?

400Ws is fine for use with a small softbox or a brolly at about 3m from flash to subject. It is 8x more powerful (2 stops brighter) than a typical Speedlight.

This falls neatly into the Quantum Qpax territory, however the Quantum system offers full TTL functionality with Nikon, Canon and Hasselblad among others. The Quantum kit is expandable up to 800Ws too.

The USP must be an inter connectivity with other Elinchrom accessories. If you shoot location portraits this might just be the kit for you.
