Just received my folio from Plastic Sandwich and I love it. Great service, they even phoned me to let me know it had been dispatched. One quick question, what is your preference for prints lustre or gloss?

Thanks

Hi
Just to put my 10p worth in, my last 5 clients all booked me on the spot at our first meeting. I am convinced it was because of the way my images were presented in the plastic sandwhich!! A great investment..

Hi Anthony,

I'm not quite sure what you mean about 'process'. A Plastic Sandwich portfolio is a leather cover that contains sleeves that prints are slipped into. Your A4 print outs would certainly look great in one of these.

I hope this helps. Damien.

I have a series of laminated ads which I have colour-copied down to A4 for easier transportation. I also have a series of A4 colour run-outs of PDFs. Could this process help improve the quality of the prints in any way?

Many thanks.

Hi Lee,

It's quite hard to show the edge effect of the border but I added a couple of shots of the 18x12 action results to the bottom of the post above. I hope this helps.

I'd be intrigued to see how one of your pages actually looks with the border and the size relationship between page and image. 12"x18" seems quite big for a portfolio but I seem to remember yours didn't feel this way so you must have got it right.

Any chance of popping an example of a page on your site. I'm not sure what the "blurred stroke border" looks like but it sounds interesting.

I saw your albums at the SWPP show recently but I didn't take enough notice it would seem...

Certainly the Plastic Sandwich range is one of the finest available - particularly with an embossed leather cover.

So pleased to hear about your endorsement for ProAm, I've used them for a couple of years now and have been really impressed with the turnaround and quality of their product.
