John, It’s Chris Hanley’s shots that exhibit high saturation. Mine are as calm as usual. I shoot sRGB and edit in Adobe RGB then upload to the web or send to print in sRGB.

Apologies for the late response, Please may I ask if you are using a different workspace within photoshop to execute some of the post production as I have noticed of late how bright and saturated some of the colours are, in particular the red? are you using LAB for example?

Hi David, I’m sorry you missed the bookings for the last Cherish workshop. There won’t be any more Cherish The Dress workshops at Hampton Manor this year because we rely on reasonably warm weather to make the shooting process comfortable for our models. A client shoot is over in a couple of hours but our models have to endure seven or more hours. We don’t mind a bit of rain.

At the time of writing there are just 6 places left on the final Cherish the Dress Workshop of 2009 to be held at the Hilton hotel in Manchester. The Hilton workshop is all interiors and is not weather dependent. It makes really good sense to work with a venue that gives you enough options to shoot whatever the weather. It’s tougher for us teaching, but you get to see more lighting techniques.

David, If you set the Mini TT1 away from ‘Auto’ sensing in the software and set it to your camera model, no test shots are needed. If left on Auto (default) the Mini TT1 needs 1 test fire to ascertain what Canon camera it is on and to set a corresponding value for sync timing.

Hampton Manor more typical of venues in my area so, wondering any more cherish the dress shoots planned at this location ? missed the last one by 2 days !
On another subject just received my miniTT1 and flexTT5 from you! Do I understand correctly that each time you put the miniTT1 on the camera you need to fire a shot off to calibrate or just for the first time?

What a contrast in shots between both photographers..great lighting and locations yet totally awesome shots from both….love the contrast from Chris and the lighting on the bride swirling the dress..
