Hi Jagdeep, Thank you for your wonderful feedback on my SWPP talk and my latest DVD.

Arri is in turmoil at the moment with stock for the UK coming from Germany but at 20% higher prices due to an exchange rate shift and some lack of communication. We are about to shift all our supplies of grip items to Manfrotto and we will aim to have Magic arms in stock at sensible prices within a week or so. It surprises me how politics and internal management wrangling can be allowed to affect customers in this way and all I can do is apologise for not holding more stock. Regards, Damien

Hi Damien,

It was great attending your seminar at the SWPP 2010. The whole technique and approach in the way you create these masterpieces is certainly going to make an improvement to my style. Having watched the speedlite DVD was well worth the buy.

I am trying to purchase the magic arm as I have been in so many situations where I am shooting wireless flash and stuck for a support mechanism. No has them in stock, please let me now once they are in.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for your kind words. Blaise has now made available online the first 2010 Urban Portrait workshops. Next year we will be doing Canon days and Nikon days separately. That way I can get onto shooting with three Speedlights and triggering them with Pocket Wizards. This will really up the game re lighting and take the picture making to the next level.

Regards, Damien.

Hi All, Thanks for the comments. Jan, the background is a bit of street art that will probably have been painted over by now. I loved it.

It's into the studio for me for a while. I've so much to shoot and lots of learning to do with my new lights and I'm fizzing with ideas.

Cheers, Damien.

Top two images are my favourites...the colours are stunning! How did you create that background on the first image or is it another ready made backdrop in Bristol?!

I love these images form this shoot Damien. I especially love how the shiny discs on Stina's dress complement the abstract street art behind.

Best wishes,
