Here are the first set of Chris Hanley’s Cherish The Dress™ pictures taken on the recent Lovegrove workshops in Tuscany. Chris started his workshops with an introduction to the workings of the Cherish brand that makes the dress the star and not the victim. The aim of a Cherish shoot is to provide an album full of “WOW” images.

Chris used my Sachtler 300w tungsten spotlight

Chris used my Sachtler 300w tungsten spotlight for this shot and set his white balance of his Nikon D3 to tungsten.

Natural light. low key - 1 stop for dress detail

Chris used -1 stop of exposure compensation in this natural light shot to keep the detail in the dress.

Interesting… I think maybe the size of the uploads don’t do the images justice as by nature they look very contrasty and the reduction in size for this post has increased this a little too much.. for me :)
Its great though to have 2 quiet different styles posted.. I like the shot of the bride lying back on the stairs.. nice place between the more contrasty shots and the type of shots Damien posts.

    Awesome update as always… cheers
