A sample chapter ~ Lighting Studio Portraits, double DVD by Damien Lovegrove
November 30th, 2011
This is a sample chapter using just one Studio Flash head at a distance of one metre from Chloe Jasmine Whichello. Sometimes the best images are the easiest to shoot. The DVD and download page is here with more information and a link to a gallery of the shots created.

I purchased the video set via the download option as soon as it was released. Another excellent tutorial in lighting and although I don’t currently shoot studio work the information was equally applicable to any lighting situation.
I really like the short format for each tutorial and clear description of the shoot and lighting.
Looking forward to some of your earlier DVD’s being made available for download rather than shipping.
All the best for 2012.
Philip.

Thank you Philip,
We are currently having the Wedding DVDs reformatted for download and then that just leaves Using Natural Light. This will get done soon too. I’m shooting one new DVD/ download video production each 8 weeks throughout 2012. The first will be shooting boudoir on location using one light. It’s working out at about 30% shot using Lupo continuous light, 20% will be Quadra flash, 20% will be Speedlight with modifyers and 30% will just be controlled natural light.
Other titles in the pipeline for completion this year are: Interior portraits with Speedlights, Exterior portraits with Quadras and Posing couples.
Cheers, Damien.
