Pictures of feminine beauty featuring Agata Mazur
May 9th, 2011

1. Sensual and beautiful. Agata shot into the light with my 100mm macro lens without it's lens hood. Convention would suggest focussing on the nearest eye but I prefer a focus line that cuts through the far eye and the all important lips. Especially when there is no eye contact.
The location was the fabulous Dillington House in Somerset. The weather was high cloud with occasional sunny patches. The occasion was the Lovegrove Consulting Feminine Beauty workshop by Damien Lovegrove as part of the Portrait Euphoria event. Here are 59 of my images from this event.
Model: Agata Mazur
Styling: Agata Mazur
Makeup: Vicky Waghorn
Photographer: Damien Lovegrove
Post Production: Luke Knight
Lighting kit: One Lupo 1200 Fresnel HMI light and a reflector

It was a fabulous time for all of us. Fine food, great company and a real fun shooting experience. It was my second tiome shooting Agata and I must say say she is sensational. Patient, professional and kind, sharing her attention equally between the delegates. Please feel free to join me in a couple of weeks time for a similar workshop in Germany. There are just a few places left. I will certainly be setting up more Feminine Beauty workshops in fabulous private homes in the UK. If you know of a lushious or lavish private house, perhaps a white cottage on the cliffs, or a Grand Designs location that I would like to shoot in please email Blaise and earn some rewards if we pick your suggestion
You can also browse our range of upcoming photography training courses here.
Please feel free to comment on these pictures or ask about my lighting techniques.

Loving 41-43, beautiful set of portraits. I’m guessing but shot facing into the sun, metered on the face to overexpose the bg but perhaps with some fill light from the front as well. Reflector?

Another wonderful set of pictures, it does not seem to matter what sort of day it is you always find or create the most wonderful light for your models to literally bathe in, stunning images I am really getting excited about and looking forward to the wedding workshop next month!

Damien, a beautiful range of images. I love the shadow detail and overall lighting feel of image 19 and also the feel of image 41. As always you are a true inspiration.

What an incredible collection of images. I know I for one would have been happy to come away with even a quarter the amount of images from a shoot such as this.
I always advise fellow photographers to put quality before quantity, but I’m going to have to have a rethink now, although quality in such quantity as demonstrated here isn’t something one comes across too often. I love this set!
