1. Martin Oliver makes great use of an out of focus foreground for this delicate shot.
Photographing children and families has always been a good income generator for me, but I recognise there are photographers out there who just do it a whole lot better. Effortless enthusiasm, combined with the patience of angels are just some of the characteristics required to get top results. Martin Oliver is a master of the art and I invited him to give a workshop at our recent Portrait Euphoria event at Dillington House in Somerset. Here is a small selection of his pictures.

I have always admired Martin’s work, and I notice that he has not dropped his standards one bit!
Beautiful pictures, I want to buy the DVD, there is in NTSC version.
Hi all, thanks to everyone who came on this shoot, the families as well as the photographers, you made it a wonderful day. Thanks Damien and the team for organising it so well!
Will Martin be joining your existing line up of workshops?
The binoculars work brilliantly with the boys and longer lens – what a great little idea. Number 14 is properly cute. And if I were the dad in number 21 I’d be tearful with pride!
what a glorious set of images all with the wow factor in them.
They are gorgeous…. beautiful… great job, very talented photographer;)
what a wonderful set of pictures. I wonder what is the level of people skills the photographer has to direct “non model” person the pose so naturally… great stuff
What a awesome set of images. Please, can you tell me what lens were used in these images: 02, 04, 05, 13 & 25?
Thanks in advance.
Ow, I LOVE these images. Thanks for sharing. This is a great inspiration.
Beautiful images, a real craftsman.
A graceful mixture of blissful play and poignant timelessness.
The guy is awesome, would love to go on a workshop with him!
