Here are a few fun portraits taken alongside my friend and ‘Evolver’ Marc Godfree. We shot at a local derelict institution using two Speedlights, an umbrella and a pair of lightweight stands with Gemini brackets. The Speedlights were set in manual mode and triggered using Pocket Wizard Plus 2 units.Model: Sara Thomas from Gingersnap

We went in under the radar and kept our kit to the minimum. Just under three hours was all we could stand in this dank environment but it was great fun. When the weather warms up I’d like to shoot more of this genre and maybe put on an Urbex Portraits workshop. Who knows? My thanks go to Katerina at Gingersnap for being such a fabulous booker, working evenings and weekends if required to keep our operation smooth. I am fortunate to have a great team in support.
Wow, what a great location. The pictures are fab too.
Thanks Adam,
Next time you are round these parts we could do some urbexing.
Thanks for the compliments, Damien.
