I gave my pictures to Marko for his input and here are a few of his transformations. I’ve chosen fresh pictures to give you some idea of the range of pictures taken on the day.
Marko gave this picture a touch of virtual HDR using Lightroom before bringing it to life in Photoshop.
Simple natural light and repeating patterns made this shot an obvious new take on an old theme.
The view from above is divine. I kept the handrail absolutely upright to strengthen the composition.
The light from a Fresnel equiped Arri light is wonderful. Two Arris were used here one as a key light and one as a kick light.
This vintage mirror fascinated me. I'm not sure this is the best use of it but it's a start. Next time I'm at Fota house I'll revisit this mirror because it has potential.
Keeping with the Arri theme, here is another frame from the staircase shoot. The blue is from the daylight and Marko has made the most of it while post producing this shot.
Here's a little bit of fun with a low angle viewpoint. With ceilings like that you can't leave them out of a wedding album so you have to think of ways of incorporating them into your pictures.
